Hardware: The tank monitor(sensor) provides a cost effective level measurment in liquids or solids for above ground storage tanks up to 25 feet tall. The sensors are completely wireless, and are ideally suited for stationary holding tanks. The level sensor communicates using state-of-the-art digital cellular technology, with sattelite communication options as a backup and/or for remote locations where cellular data coverage is absent or unreliable

This information is normally used as part of a Vendor Managed Inventory,(VMI),services offering by contracted supplier of diesel fuel(AGO) OR PETROL(PMS) to a client. The spectrum of VMI services ranges from basic Tank/Vessel monitoring to Auto-Replenishment information systems

HOW IT WORKS

How CT Diesel Tracker works: For your tank locations used for supporting 24X7 standby diesel electricity generating sets, or for generic fuel depots, a wireless sensor network can gather the tank data and transmit it to a central control location for analysis or logging. Day tank fill levels are monitored continuously so that materials are maintained at a specific quantity. Because these tanks are slowly filled or depleted, sensors can be used to measure the tank levels without false readings or tank wall interference. With CT Diesel Tracker, local controllers/communication nodes are deployed at each location without the need to run cables for power or I/O data transmission. Our unique power management capability enables a Node equipped with an analog level sensor to operate for many months, depending on pre-programmed data transmit requirements, on a single battery power supply. Remotely located tank sensor readings can be forwarded to a host system for data tracking, sending e-mail alerts, or to trigger specific events, such as refilling the tank.

“PC View” CT Diesel Tracker PC View is for businesses that want to take advantage of Communication Towers wireless monitor and controller technology and want to manage their tank information independent of the managed services option. Monitored information is received and processed by facilities maintained by the end user. Two PC View options are available. Local PC View collects information from monitors in the immediate vicinity of the managing facility. All monitors are within radio range of a local controller that is directly connected to the facility PC. Local PC View software is installed on the computer to enable tank set up, data display, and customized report formats. Remote PC View collects information from monitors that are located at any off site or on site location. Controllers at off site and on site locations are programmed with a phone number that directs outgoing calls to the managing facility PC.
